What a great game! The drama, the suspense, it was all worth it. The Pittsburg Steelers came into the game with the intention that they were going to win their 8th Super Bowl . But the Packers had other plans. Aaron Rogers was a rookie to the playoffs but that didn’t stop him from going into the game with great confidence. Although he had a lot of confidence, he still had to ask an old friend, Brett Favre, how to roll with the punches. On the other hand Ben Roethlisberger was going into the game with his 3rd Super Bowl appearance. He is only the third quarterback to do that in history.
Now lets get to the game. In the first quarter the Packers came out with two touchdowns and immediately put the pressure on Pittsburg. But in the second quarter Pittsburg scores an early field goal. But that put the Packers down because they came back two drives later and scored a touchdown. Down 21-3 the Steelers come back and scored a touchdown at the end of the half. So that makes it 21-10 after two quarters of exciting football. After the players took the field the only points scored was a touchdown by the Steelers. In the final quarter the Packers wanted to shut the game down. So they came out and scored a touchdown in the first 3 minutes. But the Steelers wanted that trophy and wouldn’t give up. They came right back and scored a touchdown. But in the end it was the Packers who prevailed. With a late field goal and a 6 point lead. The Packers won the Super Bowl and took the trophy home. With a grand total of 12 national championship wins and 3 Super Bowl wins.
